What Are Veneers?
Veneers are thin covers made from porcelain that are placed over your teeth to completely cover the front, and they are used to create the appearance of better teeth. They do this by hiding any flaws such as cracks, chips and crooked teeth. Instead of seeing a damaged tooth, people will see a perfect veneer.
Each one is made individually to ensure it is the perfect fit for your tooth. It is then bonded to the tooth – after we have removed a small layer of your tooth’s surface – using a strong adhesive. This is designed to last for many years, which is why many people have veneers for between 10 and 15 years before they need replacing.
