Dr Brindha over 20 years of experience in advanced restorative dentistry, Dr. Brindha Karthikeyan is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. She holds a Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics from King’s College London, which has refined her skills in complex restorative procedures.

Dr. Brindha’s expertise includes full mouth rehabilitation with crowns and bridges, as well as smile makeovers using minimal-prep ceramic veneers, 3 D printer veneers and composite bonding to create natural, beautiful results. She also offers Invisalign treatment, providing a discreet solution for aligning teeth. Dr. Brindha uses advanced 3D technology to customise each smile to achieve precise, aesthetically pleasing outcomes.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Brindha has made significant contributions to dental education. She was instrumental in establishing two private dental schools, including the first private dental school in Malaysia, and dedicated several years to teaching dental students, shaping the future of dentistry.

Dr. Karthik has over 20 years of experience in advanced restorative and implant dentistry, Dr. Karthik is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-cantered care. He holds a Master’s in Clinical Dentistry in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics from King’s College London, enriching his expertise in complex dental procedures.

Dr. Karthik’s special interests include full mouth rehabilitation on teeth or implants, hard and soft tissue grafting including sinus augmentation, and smile makeovers—particularly replacing old, defective veneers, crowns, and bridges. His commitment to excellence is reflected in his personalised approach, ensuring each treatment is tailored to meet the unique needs of his patients. Utilising cutting edge 3D technology, he designs personalised smiles to achieve the most precise and aesthetically pleasing results for his patients.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Karthik has made significant contributions to dental education. He along with Dr. Brindha was instrumental in establishing Malaysia’s first private dental school and spent several years teaching dental students, helping shape the next generation of dental professionals.

Dr Caplan is an international educator, author, ‘Key Opinion Leader’ , is current President of the Digital Dentistry Society UK and former President of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD).

Alex will be your first point of contact at Aviva Dentistry, you will speak to her when you call the practice to book an appointment or make an enquiry.

She will also be the first person you see when you arrive at our practice and you can be guaranteed a warm and friendly greeting. Alex is extremely well organised and plays a vital role in the running of Aviva Dentistry.

Lidiana qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy.

As she is dual qualified, she can carry out the full scope as a hygienist and can also provide restorative treatments such as fillings and preventative sealants as a therapist.

Lidiana is focused on patients’ care and she aims to help them to improve their oral health and quality of life. Since qualifying, she has attended various courses to allow her to develop her skills and introduce new techniques, including home tooth whitening to help brighten your smile.

Sarah trained at Birmingham Dental Hospital and qualified in 2008.

As a dental therapist she performs many small restorative procedures on both adults and children and as a hygienist she also has an active role in the practice hygiene department.

During her studies, Sarah was awarded ‘The Tepe Prize’ for patient communication.

Outside of work, Sarah is an open cold-water swimmer and can be found swimming before work on most days – we don’t know how she does it!

Ela works alongside different Dentist and she is integral in the smooth running of the practice.

Ela has been trained in the complexities of nursing for cosmetic dental and implant treatment. She has a very calming influence in the dental surgery and shows great care for patients.
